One of the features of Edisen's digital asset management is to allow the users to move or copy assets from one folder/collection to another folder/collection.

To move an asset:

On the collection details page (in any view setting), find the ellipsis associated with an asset you want to move and click on it to open the context menu.

Find and select "Move to..." This will open a Move modal, like below:

Browse and select the destination folder to which you want the asset to be moved to and then click on "Move". You will get an alert on top of the page notifying that the asset was successfully moved.

To copy an asset:

In the same context menu that opens after you click the ellipsis button associated with an asset, select "Copy to..." and the below modal below opens up:

Browse and select the collection/folder where you would like to copy the asset. You will get an alert on top of the page notifying that the asset was successfully copied.

Note: Folders inside a collection cannot be moved, copied, or downloaded.

Note: All the metadata associated with an asset will be moved or copied as well.
