Create a plan

To create a Plan click the START A PLAN or the NEW PLAN

Button.


Select the plan type.

  • Initiatives

    • High-level strategic directives

    • Initiatives may have sub-campaigns and activities

  • Campaigns

    • Tactical plans to achieve your marketing plans

    • Campaigns my have sub-campaigns and activities

  • Activities

    • Small tactical operations aimed at specific goals.

    • Activities may not have sub-campaigns or activities


Add plan details

  • Name

    • Give your plan a name. You'll be able to sort and filter by your plan name.

      • Name is a required field

  • Description

    • Give the goals of the plan in more detail to let others know what the outcome of the plan might be.

      • Optional.

  • Make Sub plan of...

    • For Campaigns and Activities, the option to make sub-of is available.

    • This will link the activities in the Overview - Gantt view and link timelines.

    • For Initiatives, this option is not available.

      • Optional.

  • Reference number

    • If you have billing or reference numbers you want to associate with the plan you can add those here.

      • Optional

  • Start Date

    • Start dates will add your plan to the timeline view of the Plan overview.

  • End Date

    • End dates will add end the plan in the timeline view of the Plan overview

  • Create Another

    • If there are multiple campaigns and activities that need to be created, check Create Another.

    • If selected when your plan is created, you will be sent back to create the select a plan type screen to create multiple plans.

    • Adding plans in bulk is not available at this time


Add Users and Permissions

  • Collaboration permissions

    • Owners

      • May edit the plan and add more collaborators

      • Owners may only be individuals within your organization.

    • Editors

      • May edit the plan

      • May be applied to a team within your organization.

        • Optional

    • Viewers

      • May view but not edit the plan.

      • May be applied to a team within your organization.

        • Optional
